For merchants

Stop paying a premium to be in a legal business

Cash pickups, cashless-ATM workarounds and 4% "compliance" surcharges all exist because the card networks won't touch cannabis. CAN sidesteps the whole arrangement: a customer pays in dollars, you receive dollars, and nobody can reverse it three weeks later.

Predictable cost

Network fees are pennies per transfer. No interchange tiers, no monthly minimums, no surprise reserve holds.

No chargebacks

A CAN payment is final when it confirms. Friendly fraud stops being a line item in your P&L.

Settle on your schedule

Hold CAN as dollars, or redeem to USDC whenever you like — nights, weekends and holidays included.

Less cash on premises

Fewer armored pickups, smaller safes, and less risk for your staff at close.

Clean books

Every payment is a whole-dollar amount with an on-chain record you can reconcile against your POS.

Works alongside what you have

CAN is another tender type at the register, not a rip-and-replace of your current setup.

The register side: NectarPay

CannabisCoins.com issues and redeems the money. NectarPay runs the counter — payment terminals, staff-proof checkout flow, receipts, tip handling, daily settlement reports and a dashboard your bookkeeper can actually use. If you want CAN in your shop, that's the front door.

The honest caveats

  • CAN is a payment rail, not a licence. Your state's cannabis rules, taxes and reporting obligations don't change.
  • Transfers are final. Refunds are something you issue deliberately, not something a processor claws back.
  • Redemptions carry a small fee, so keeping a working balance in CAN is usually cheaper than cashing out every night.
